Back after a little break with a special edition of Gut Level presents. Bringing two NTS regulars together, London’s Shy One and local fave Ashley Holmes, for a night of heartfelt, jacking dance music.

Mali Larrington-Nelson, AKA Shy One lives and breathes the eclecticism and diversity of her DJ sets and productions. Having started off DJing on pirate radio as a teenager, Shy One has been exposed to and influenced by the full spectrum of sounds her hometown of London has birthed and nurtured over the years.

Ashley Holmes

Sheffield based multi-displenary artist Ashley is a resident on NTS Radio and has hosted Tough Matter, a monthly show of experimental music and sound since 2017. He facilitates Open Deck, a series of gatherings started in 2018 giving space to collectively listen and hold discursive space around embodied knowledges and relationships to music, sound, memory and oral histories. 

Ash is no stranger to the Gut Level DJ booth, it’s always a treat to listen to his selections <3
