Trans-formative Sound Meditation w/ Kiik Amor
Non-binary/trans artist Jordan Edge (Kiik Amor) will be transforming the Eyre Street space for an afternoon sound bath/sonic meditation session incorporating electronics, live sound elements and AI-generated narratives. Kiik will vocally guide us through meditation and motion exercises based on Transness / fuildness and how it influences your body, listening experiences and movement.
The sessions will include a discussion with Jordan about their practice as an artist exploring queerness through their work.

About the artist
Jordan Edge is a non-binary / trans artist working within the field of experimental music and sound art. Their work is based at the intersection of experience design, performance art, and sonic worldbuilding. They present hybrid species, non-human and queer/trans sonic narratives through multidisciplinary experiences.
Edge also performs under the alias Kiik Amor; an exhilarating live performer, and experimental music composer. Kiik combines savage audio rot, broken pop melodies, and active noise to create diverse hyper-sonic worlds. Kiik detaches herself from reality through the body, abuse of audio and ethereal vocals, crushing any notion of tempo and key. Angelic, surreal, and disorientating music.
