QTIBPOC Cinema Club invites you to welcome the year of the snake in the diversity of traditions that surround the Lunar New Year and across our communities.

There will be a print-making workshop, food potluck, rituals, karaoke, and more!

Join us for a special print-making workshop delivered by Remember+Resist, where we will explore the significance of the Year of the Snake rooted in radical possibilities. You will get to design your own print that you can take home with you. Those who want can also print them on our banner, to be displayed in Gut Level!

Remember + Resist are a project seeking to expand abolitionist practice and thinking from an East and South-East Asian (ESEA) context in the UK, while building solidarity with broader abolitionist movements. You can see their work here: https://www.instagram.com/remember.resist/ 

Food: To honor the spirit of the celebration, where people share in the joy of making and eating food, this event will be a *potluck! Bring a dish with you* everyone who is bringing a dish can get 5-15£ towards ingredients costs - get in touch to arrange this. 

Drinks: Gut Level bar will be open for you to buy drinks.

Schedule: 4 pm is set up. 4:30pm is the workshop. 7:30pm for dinner, and 9pm is rituals, traditional games, and performance, and then Karaoke till late! Bring your rage and joy to the mic.
