Prisons, Sexual Violence and Transmisogyny: Challenging Structures of Harm

A day of Workshops from SLSA:

“We are excited to invite you to join our workshop, "Prisons, Sexual Violence and Transmisogyny: Challenging Structures of Harm" on Sunday 28th September from 10.30 am - 5 pm.  This SLSA-funded workshop brings together researchers and activists to address the intersections of state violence, sexual violence, and transmisogyny with a focus on collaborating to challenge the ever-expanding prison industrial complex.

The event will be in Sheffield city centre at Gut Level. The event will take place on the ground floor, which is wheelchair accessible and we can provide measurements upon request. Toilets are accessible and gender neutral. There will be a prayer room available for the event.

We would love for you to attend as a participant. Whilst guided by key speakers and a schedule, the workshop is collaborative and interactive, and we are hoping all participants will join in as much as they are comfortable to.
