Joe is a DJ, label owner and writer based in Lisbon. He connects the fundamentals of disco, house and electro to dance music’s vivid present, creating moments of pure pop catharsis along the way. His deeply personal approach — both serious and playful, thoughtful and spontaneous — has brought him to internationally respected clubs (Closer, Globus, Outra Cena, Panoramabar, Savage, .TAG) and festivals (Dimensions, Equation, Horst, Waking Life), as well as queer parties from Adonis to Honcho, Love Muscle, Multisex and Pumping Velvet. Joe also runs a vinyl/digital label, Welt Discos, and writes a much-loved newsletter about his experiences as a DJ and listener.
