Harder - An exhibition by Harry Nixon-Kneale
Harry Nixon-Kneale is a Sheffield-based, Queer artist whose work is acting against the negative stereotypes of gay men. Whilst battling against clichés such as the sexless ‘gay best friend’, the explicit nature of Nixon-Kneale’s art captures his own frustration of staying in the shadows and being complicit in the way the world and the media view Homosexuality.
His output is very tongue-in-cheek, exploring the land between sexuality and activism through the use of ‘found images’ from pornographic websites to create the subversive works for his debut exhibition.
Works will be on display throughout December.
Free for anyone on the FWB membership tier.
£3 entry for standard members.
